Storm; My God is bigger!

As some of you know, I lost my job this past week. Our storm is huge right now but I heard a quote today at church...

"Quit telling God how big your storm is, Start telling your storm how big your God is."

I LOVE that!!

I have started getting a verse out of the bible a day...www.verseoftheday.com It started with

James 1:2-3
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

This hit me because I am supposed to consider it pure joy that I lost my job. This is a test of my faith and I know that I will develop perseverance.

The second day was

Galatians 6:8
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

I have been sowing to please my sinful nature and from that there has come destruction. God is telling me that I need to sow for him, seek him, and ask him.

Third day was

Matthew 7:7
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

I know that God will put me where he sees that I fit. I had an interview last monday and received a letter telling me that I didn't get the job. But I have faith that I will find something that I will fit with.

Things happen for a reason and I believe that. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me.

Rob's best friend Randy and his wife and daughter were able to come to the states from Korea for the holidays and they were able to make it up to Carson City to visit us 2 weeks ago and we were able to meet their beautiful daughter for the 1st time. We had a great 3 day visit, I'll have to post photos tomorrow because it's not letting me right now :(

We were also blessed to be able to go on a vacation to Pacifica, CA. I got lost of beautiful photos of that as well but you'll have to wait to see them :)

I want to thank everyone that has been and still is praying for us. We love you all!
