So beautifu, So fun, Sooooo Cold...

It snowed on Sunday night and pretty much all day Monday. The kids had their 1st Snow Day so they were home all day and we took advantage of that hand went outside and played in the snow and then came in and had some hot cocoa to warm up. Here are some photos to enjoy :)

October has come and gone...WOW that was fast. We had a great halloween, Rob and I took the kids out to trick or treat on Friday Oct 30th, that is when Carson City celebrated it (just another holiday for the state employees to get off, lol) then we took them to our church on saturday night and they had fun playing on jump houses and getting lots more candy.

I am on a slight vacation, I say slight because I felt bad when I heard that me leaving for a month would put them in a bind with one of the Tele techs/Unit clerk quitting and then a CNA leaving, so I told them that I would work mondays and wednesdays throughout my vacation LOL :) It's alright, it saves me more vacation time for whenever something else comes up.

Rob's business is doing great. Kids are doing good in school however Ryan got his 1st bad mark in school for not listening in PE. He told Rob that if Rob told me he was going to call the cops on him LOL!! That to me was just too funny.

The other day Emma was using scissors and well it got a little to close to her hair and she hacked it off....LOL well it wasnt that funny cuz I was MAD but I finished it off it's really short and SO unprofessional but oh well, easy to manage :)



I need your help people out there reading this blog....can you see my background and can you see the whole image...this is what it's supposed to look like


...I am making these and selling them so I want to make sure I get the sizing right for all kinds of monitors. Thanks for your help :)

Been awhile...

Rob is doing good and RR Pitman's Mobile Auto Service & Repair is picking up, we are very excited about that!

Kids are done with soccer, We are happy to say that the season is over, it was fun but there were times that it got hard because Emma was getting more afraid of the ball instead of comfortable with it. Ryan is a great player and enjoyed the season and next year we will put him back in it. At the end of the season they each had a pizza party and got cool little trophies.




















As for me...I have grown a deep love for Vicks and my vaporizer

I tried to fight off my cold for a week and failed so I had to go see the Doc. With some meds I am happy to say that I am feeling much much better and now I am working, working, working, and I am afraid to say it...Enjoying Chemistry 121....Yikes! On my down time I am finding some relaxation in making new blog backgrounds :)

Time again for a quick update....

Rob has opened his business, YAY!!! It's called RR Pitman's Mobile Auto Service and Repair. He is now doing what he has always wanted to do! GO HIM!!! I am proud of you honey!

Kids are enjoying school and soccer. This is their last week of school for 3 weeks....Booo ;) Good thing there will be soccer to keep em' busy a bit.

Me...I started Chem 121 about 3 weeks ago...(only 13 more to go...oh but who's counting?) I am actually getting it...scary I know! I also had my 1st lab today as well and that went great, I was scared about that too but all went well! I have met 2 other gals that have the same classes left that I do and we are talking about taking those classes together to help each other out. :) I am trying to do what my dad said and keep a positive attitude about Chemistry and tell myself that I can do it and I will do it instead of being scared of it and telling myself that I cant do it and I wont get it. Seems to be working Dad! :)

WoW....

So, it's been a long time since I have updated. It's just been crazy around here. I have been picking up extra hours at the hospital before school starts for me next week. I am totally scared to start Chem but it's gotta get done. Wish me luck I think that I am going to need it. Rob came with me to the college the other day so that we could find my class rooms, I have to find them before I go to school so I don't look like a moron on the 1st day of school and get lost. LOL :) I have nightmares about that.


The kids are enjoying school. They started soccer about 4 weeks ago and enjoy that as well.

Rob and the kids just got over a major flu, I was praying it wasn't the swine flu, we had temps here up to 103.9, crazy! I just must be lucky cuz I didn't catch whatever it was that they had.
